2022 Atlantic Hypothetical Hurricane Season Animation | GST - Geo

The 2022 Atlantic Hypothetical Hurricane Season was the most active hurricane season I have ever animated. 34 total tropical cyclones formed, and all would become namable tropical storms, 25 would become hurricanes, 19 would further develop into major hurricanes, and 9 Category 5s. Shary was the strongest and most intense tropical cyclone. It is safe to say that the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean are dead.

They are called Hurricanes in the North Atlantic and Eastern Pacific, Typhoons in the Western Pacific, and Cyclones elsewhere. These animations are inspired from Force Thirteen, Force Thirteen XTRA. There are also things called Hypothetical Hurricane Seasons, Hypothetical Cyclone Seasons, or Hypothetical Typhoon Seasons.
