Since July 2018, Chopard is the only manufacture to use 100% Ethical Gold for the production of all its watches and jewellery. Chopard defines Ethical Gold as gold acquired from responsible sources, verified as having met international best environmental and social standards, coming either from RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) Chain of Custody certified refineries or certified artisanal mines accredited by the SBGA (Swiss Better Gold Association).
