Venom: Why are some animals venomous? Are there venomous mammals? What are the most venomous animals

Why are some animals venomous and others not? Why aren't we, humans, venomous? What is the difference between venom and poison? What are the most venomous animals in the world? Why has the Australian inland taipan developed a venom that can kill 100 humans, if the taipan doesn't hunt or feed on humans? Why do we measure power of venom in humans killed? And how can we use venom to save human lives? These and other questions will be answered in my most scientific video (to date:-)

Written and presented by Emile Fenenko. Featuring slow loris, African crested rat, Northern short-tailed shrew, hooded pitohui, redback spider, Australian inland taipan, Brazilian pit viper, blue-ringed octopus, cone snail and many more venomous and poisonous animals.

Special thanks to our guest star Evgeniya Timonova who risked her life to get footage of the box jellyfish and miraculously survived - https://www.youtube.com/user/vsekakuzverei. And many thanks to Oleg Kugaev for the platypus, steppe eagle and vipers - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCn0qIQ_0rmSxv6XGF1FdwUQ.
