Slow Stitching Blackbird I Hand Embroidery Blanket Stitch Circles Flosstube

In this video I show my completed slow stitching red-winged blackbird piece that features hand embroidery texture and mark-making with lots of circles and ovals using the blanket stitch.
-I outline problem solving and mending techniques to make my backing felt larger.
-I also show several fabric swatches from my Spoonflower shop and how they can be cut out and used as appliqué pieces when you want to add a bird to a slow stitched embroidery artwork.
