Republicans Call for Mitch McConnell to Get McCarthy’d Over the Immigration Bill

The bipartisan immigration bill is more draconian and barbaric than many people expected, but some immigration hawks in the Republican Party have come out strongly against it. Why? Because Biden supports it. Some Republicans—who also hate immigrants—are baffled by their colleagues’ partisan rejection of the bill. GOP leadership is split, insults are being traded, and an all-out “mutiny” is reportedly brewing against McConnell, with some GOP senators openly calling for new leadership. We’ll breakdown the sh*t storm caused by this bill and explain why it’s good far right Republicans oppose it—even if they’re against it for all the wrong reasons.
