WHEN ANIMALS DIE Crimson Desert Hunting Challenge Guide

Here's a quick Crimson Desert gameplay video to show you where to find and how to complete the "When Animals Die" hunting challenge in Crimson Desert.

First, collect the Sealed Abyss Artifact from the shrine amongst the trees and off the path near the Bordig Ruins, Southeast of Tashkalp.

You'll be able to complete this challenge in a variety of ways since it's not specific to what animals in what areas you need to hunt to obtain the hides, but to make this as easy as possible, I've highlighted the animals I used and their locations to net you one of each different type of hide in the game.

I killed and skinned a Boar Piglet (Thin Hide) in Sage's Peak (Northeast Hernand), Bear (Thick Hide) in Greenfield Heights (Southeast Hernand), Water Deer (Short Hair Hide) in Nas River (South Hernand), Crocodile (Sturdy Hide) in Golden Plains (East Demeniss), and a Wolf (Long Haired Hide) in Silver Wolf Mountain (Pailune).

After you've obtained your fifth unique hide, unseal the Abyss Artifact to complete the "When Animals Die" challenge!

🏆 To clear the requirements for this challenge, and continue your progress towards the "Ultimate Hunter" and "Lord of Honor" achievements/trophies for 100% game completion, you'll need to:
- Obtain thin hide through skinning
- Obtain thick hide through skinning
- Obtain sturdy hide through skinning
- Obtain short hair hide through skinning
- Obtain long hair hide through skinning
