The song we know as Tumbling Tumbleweeds was originally titled "Tumbling Leaves." Along its way to becoming one of the best-known and best-loved songs in western music, it had its original verse replaced without composer Bob Nolan's knowledge or consent, and he never saw most of the money from royalties that the song generated over his lifetime.
