Sourp Hagop's William Saroyan Public Speaking Competition

What an incredible experience it was to be part of Sourp Hagop’s sixth annual public speaking competition on February 20, 2025, in Montreal, Canada. As a judge, I had the privilege of witnessing talented students deliver powerful speeches, captivating the audience with their messages.

It was a refreshing change of pace for me, not being on stage, but instead analyzing and appreciating the skills of these young speakers. I truly admire this event’s mission because strong communication skills are essential in every industry. Seeing students develop this ability at such a young age will serve them tremendously in the future.

Congratulations to all the participants, the dedicated teachers who guided them, and the school for creating this amazing opportunity!
