USMNT demolish El Salvador 6-0! Chris Mueller adds two goals & an assist in U.S. debut | ESPN FC

The USMNT ends the calendar year on high note with a 6-0 thrashing of El Salvador in Ft. Lauderdale. Paul Arriola opened the scoring for the U.S. and Chris Mueller added a brace in his debut. Sebastian Lleget and Ayo Akinola would round out the scoring in a five-goal first half for the United States. That is the shortest span of time in which the USMNT ever scored five goals in a game. The previous fastest was on June 22, 2019 vs. Trinidad and Tobago when they scored five in 25 minutes. Gregg Berhalter's men added a sixth goal in the second half through Brenden Aaronson.
