A Model Love Story For Education | Nancy Ruzycki | TEDxUF

In her talk, Nancy Ruzycki, Ph.D., aims to challenge the education of young adults in the American Education system and proposes a new style of teaching, models. Through her groundbreaking research at University of Florida, Dr. Ruzycki works alongside Florida school teachers on implementing models in everyday school life, creating a foundation that allows young adults to process and implement their own models into the real world. From cats to Red vs. Blue Politics, Dr. Ruzycki changes the way we look at our education system and proposes a revolutionary idea that can change the education system as we know it. Dr. Nancy Ruzycki holds a BS in chemistry and education from USF, a Master's in Applied Physics from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, and a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics from Tulane University. She currently is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and conducts research in 3D printing, STEM education and professional development.
