I am Argun Konuk, a Turkish traveler who traveled in Armenia for 3 weeks with a Turkish passport in 2021.

Here in my first Armenia travel vlog, I walked around the capital city of Yerevan with my friends, learned about the daily life in Armenia and got to know the Armenian culture a bit.

First, I was intimidated to come to Armenia as a Turkish citizen after the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War between Armenia and Azerbaijan. I constantly had this question on my mind: "Is Armenia safe?" However, traveling in Armenia (even) as a Turk was a great experience. People are very kind, friendly, hospitable and generous. Moreover, Armenia itself is a fascinating tourist destination.

I am a person who is in love with cultures, languages, history and traveling. Therefore, I would like to state that I am not a political person and my content is not political either.

My sole aspiration was to travel in this beautiful country, meet new people, visit the historical attractions and learn about the Armenian culture.

I am not pro or anti any government. This video is a summary of my personal experiences. I was not paid by anyone to make this video.
