Wingspan: Starting Hand Strategy - The Mill

Welcome to The Mill. This week we’re going to talk a little bit about the things you should consider at the beginning of the game when you have 5 bird cards and 5 food tokens in hand. You have some decisions to make. Should you keep that Sandhill Crane (no relation) and take 4 food? Is that high point value card worth it, even if it’s cheap to play? Let’s talk a little bit while we’re running through an opening hand or two.
