JAW SURGERY | still unhappy 8 months post op

hi guys! Heres a random video of me chatting about my latest orthodontist appointment after double jaw surgery as well as a few before and after clips. This has honestly been the worst experience for me- I'm so embarrassed of my face now. As silly as it sounds, this surgery has impacted me so much both physically and mentally- I am so unhappy with the results and I rarely ever take my mask off (I was so excited before and thought I would be SO confident after lol).

All of my doctors are aware of my concerns and how disappointed I am with my jaw surgery results. I feel bad and it's hard for me to be vocal but I think its important to be honest w your doctors if you're unhappy and thats what i've been doing every time we've spoken post op.

I never planned on sharing if something were wrong, but at this point they say everything is good so I'll just share my perspective/reality with you all in hopes someone can relate. I honestly don't know if I'm overreacting, if there's something I'm missing or what, but I'm going to make a video about my full experience and share everything to get your perspectives (I am so upset and there's SO much I want to share with you guys after my last post op appointment because it's still all so insane to me).

I hope nobody else has to go through what I have these past 9 months. I'm not denying that there was a positive change (my profile did improve), but I do think there were negative changes as well. I by no means want to be negative, I'm just sharing what I'm dealing with. At this point nothing is going to change but I think it will make me feel better if I share about my experience.
