MY 2022 MAKEUP NO BUY & PROJECT PAN - super early time isn't real anyway~

I welcome you to my documentation of my no buy year :3

Here are some afterthoughts I have about this whole project. I have established I am a "perfect" makeup consumer, as long as it looks beautiful to me, I buy it and this never ending cycle of buying and never using builds up and affects me in more ways than one. Makeup is supposed to be my safe haven, where I destress but because I have been purchasing and purchasing, I am not even able to relax doing my own hobby because I am constantly thinking about all the products I haven't used or used enough. I am aware of my terrible mindset of producing all this waste yet, I am always chasing the next best thing. There are products that I panicked bought or thought was really beautiful at the moment which I don't pay a split second of attention to. And this lifestyle is terribly toxic as I never have time to appreciate all the beautiful products I have purchased with my hard owned money.

I am a college student, with big goals and dreams that require $$ after graduation, and at this rate I'm gonna end up graduating with debt. So, this is the main reason for my no buy this year. To save up for my life after graduation and to learn to appreciate the beautiful things I have already. I love makeup and I want to be in a headspace where I can look at it without feeling the need to purchase more or feel overwhelmed. I have way too much makeup, probably enough for 10+ people but I only have one face.

I might film a makeup inventory video but I am honestly really nervous and even ashamed to count the numbers so it might just be something I keep to myself for now, until I am confident to share it.
