It's unfortunate that many of our preachers today, especially those of African descent, lack deep knowledge. They are often remnants of a struggling community who attended church. Some grew up in the church and repeated what they heard from the pulpit. They learn selectively, focusing on teachings that maintain or worsen the community's struggles. Most do this without fully understanding the Bible, let alone studying it. They preach nonsensical parts, knowingly perpetuating confusion. They are perplexed by the empty churches and the rapid growth of Islam. This issue demands our attention. The lack of profound understanding among these preachers not only affects the congregation but also hinders the community's spiritual growth. Without a solid foundation in the scriptures, their sermons lack depth and fail to provide the guidance and enlightenment the people truly need. This perpetuates a cycle of ignorance and misunderstanding, leading to a natural disconnection between the church and its Creator (The True and Living God). As a result, the community faces challenges in finding true spiritual fulfillment and direction, which ultimately impacts its overall well-being. We must address this issue promptly and take proactive steps to enhance the knowledge and understanding of our preachers for the betterment of the entire community.
