12-15-2020 Waynoka, OK - Highway 412 Shut Down South of Town

Heavy snow fell over northwest Oklahoma on Tuesday, creating a traveling nightmare for motorists in the area. Highway 412 heading west bound was at a stand still and briefly closed around 3:30pm due to a semi truck that got stuck going up a slick incline. A road grating tractor that was out plowing snow was able to help the semi truck get back on the road. Other semi trucks simply parked along the side of the highway and waited for plow trucks to clear the heavy snow from the highway. Most of this video was shot along highway 412, just west of Highway 281, south of Waynoka. The clips with heavy snow falling were captured earlier in Woodward, Oklahoma.
