A treatment used to relieve symptoms of the menopause is to be reassessed for use in Scotland. The manufacturer of Utrogestan has been invited to make a resubmission to the Scottish Medicines Consortium.

It comes after the lack of availability of the treatment in Scotland was highlighted in a new Davina McCall documentary. Vanessa Kennedy reports.
