Cucumber Raita Recipe

Ingredients:

1. 5 cup plain yogurt

3 small cucumber, finely grated or chopped

1 small onion, finely chopped

A few leaves of iceberg lettuce, finely shredded

1 green chili, finely chopped (adjust to taste)

Salt to taste

¼ tsp black pepper

½ tsp roasted cumin powder

½ tsp dried peppermint (crushed)
Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth and creamy.
2. Add the grated cucumber, chopped onion, shredded iceberg lettuce, and green chili.
3. Mix in the salt, black pepper, roasted cumin powder, and crushed dried peppermint.
4. Stir everything well until combined.
5. Chill for 10–15 minutes before serving for best flavor.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve cold as a side dish with biryani, pulao, paratha, or grilled meats.
