History of the Friendship Fire Association

The Friendship Fire Association has a long history with DC Fire & EMS. Their critical assistance at major incident scenes & working fires has spanned decades. Tonight, we will recognize members of the FFA with a ceremony celebrating over 80 years of volunteer service to DC's Bravest. For Safety Stand Down Week, DC FEMS Public Information Officer Vito Maggiolo walks us through the history of the Canteen Unit, and how firefighter rehabilitation has changed through the years.
