In this video, we show the mesmerizing process of creating a self-leveling floor that transforms an ordinary empty room into a true work of art for February 14!❤️

What happens in the video:
Right before your eyes, we pour liters of thick pearlescent epoxy resin in soft pink and rich ruby colors onto the floor. Using special wide squeegees (rakles), we mix these shades right on the floor, swirling them into a giant heart-shaped marble vortex. Then we pour a crystal-clear topcoat over it all, which creates a deep “lens” effect, and polish the surface to a perfect mirror finish. In the finale, the empty room is instantly furnished, and a real Cupid jumps onto the bed! 👼🏹

How such a floor is created (brief instructions):
If you want to recreate this glossy masterpiece in your home, here are the main steps in the process of pouring a decorative epoxy floor:

Step 1: Preparation. The concrete base must be perfectly flat. It is carefully sanded, dusted, and coated with a special primer for better adhesion.

Step 2: Mixing the base. Two-component epoxy resin is mixed with a hardener in strict proportions. Pearl pigments (metallics) of the desired colors are added to it.

Step 3: Pouring and drawing. Colored resin is poured onto the floor in puddles or stripes. While the material is still liquid (about 30-40 minutes), craftsmen use squeegees or spatulas to spread the resin and draw a pattern — marble streaks or, as in our case, a huge heart. It is imperative to go over the liquid floor with a needle roller to remove all air bubbles.

Step 4: Clear top coat. When the colored layer is dry (12-24 hours), a clear resin or polyurethane varnish is poured on top. This protects the pattern and gives it a stunning 3D effect.

Step 5: Polishing. After complete hardening (after a few days), the floor is polished with special rotary machines to remove micro-dust and achieve a “liquid glass” effect.
