WHAT PIPELINE COMPANIES SUPPLY TO PIPELINER WELDERS ON THE JOB // UNION SPECIFICALLY
In this video, we talk about what supplies a pipeline welder is “supplied” after hiring on with a pipeline contractor. Pipeline welding takes you on the road and has many hidden cost but an upside to working for a contractor instead of contracting on yourself is getting consumable products and ppe supplied. I’m Austin Ross a rig welder and pipeliner and on this channel I like to share my experiences in hopes of helping out others. Pipeline welder tools are relatively minimal compared to a more general rig welder tools setup. This is from a union welder view. Specifics can vary from contractor to contractor so I like to keep a few of everything I need on hand for test day and just in case. Sometimes finding pipeline supply company is hard to do especially is you are trying to find a pipeline supply on the way to a pipeline job under a tight timeline.
