Sunak: Economy has experienced 'a serious shock'

The Chancellor has told Sky News that the economy has suffered an "enormous shock".

It comes after new figures revealed the UK suffered its deepest annual slump since the Great Frost of 1709.

Mr Sunak said his focus was to protect jobs, businesses and livelihoods ahead of delivering his budget in March.
