Hiking and Packrafting Afognak Island's KNWR, Kodiak Alaska 2021

This video depicts a 5-day loop through the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge (KNWR) on Afognak Island, linking bays, lakes, and mountain passes. This is one of the least visited wilderness areas of Alaska and is populated by Sitka blacktail deer, Roosevelt elk, Kodiak brown bears, foxes, sea & land otters along with other marine fauna, many terrestrial and marine bird species, all surrounded by lush and varied vegetation.
