Fushimi Inari Shrine. Kyoto, Japan 【HD】

The Fushimi Inari Taisha, is a complex with several Shinto Shrines, located about 2,5 km southeast of the JR Kyoto Station, with a total area of 870,000 square meters. Its most famous feature is the Senbon-Torii or the Thousand Torii Gates standing in the path to the Oku-sha.

More than 24 ceremonies are held in this Shrine around the year. Within the boundaries of the Shrine, you'll find mysterious trails going up the Inari Mountain, two ponds and a general ambience that somehow takes you away from reality into a travel back in time, to a land where the spirits and creatures of Japanese tales and folklore wander and hide behind the countless Torii gates and Byakko Fox Statues.

In this video we see the main path to the Shrine Complex, then people participating in the Nagoshi no Oharae ceremony. Later we see the Senbon Torii gates and part of what you see when going further into the trails up the Inari Mountain.
