Teen Learns She's in Kidney Failure After Apple Watch Told Her to Go to ER
An 18-year-old says her Apple Watch alerted her to a serious health issue. Deanna Recktenwald says it started when the device picked up on an unusual heart rate. Her mom Stacey is a nurse. She took Deanna's pulse, which confirmed what the Watch was reporting. So they went to the emergency room, where blood tests showed Deanna was in kidney failure.
