The example shows is how we put together the system for a 10Gig system. The HD Flex is a cassette-based system where you can bring the tray out to manage the cabling, but continue to bring it out - it's a two-stage process - to gain access to the cassettes by simply pushing underneath and pulling them out.

We've made it easy to gain access for later on if you have to do moves, adds and changes. We have the duplex patch cords using our new push/pull LC connector where you just pull on the boot and you can easily undo or take out the patch cord to move, change or add it in. A great little feature is that you can't pull out the LC connectors by just pulling on the cable.

If you wish to go to 40G, it's quite simple. Our second example is of a 40G system where we've got an adapter panel and another adapter cassette. Again, two-stage, cassette-based, easy to bring in and out for cable management. Designed for now but looking ahead for the future when you need to upgrade.

Looking at the back of the cabinet, we haven't forgotten what needs to be done there. A lot of folks just let the cabling hang and not manage it really well. What we've done is use our small diameter trunk cables. This is a 24 fiber trunk which has 12 fiber breakouts. At the breakout we have a nice little feature that allows us to manage the cable before it goes into the cassette in the back. You can also get in and manage the cassettes at the back and the cabling at the back. It's not just front management, but back management as well and really lots of cable management features that help the installer make sure that it's neat, tidy and you can get access later to do those moves, adds and changes.
