Lithium? It’s fast becoming one of the most popular upgrades to the touring setup, but is it all that it’s made up to be? In this episode, we are checking out all the differences between conventional 12V batteries and lithium and cross referencing official data from the manufacturers.

I always talk about the VALUE for money, not necessarily the outright cost. I talk about this batteries value and whether it would be a viable option for your 12V setup.

Comparing statistics, looking at other electronic accessories in the engine bay we try and determine whether a lithium battery really has a place under the bonnet of a modern day 4WD tourer. Will it hold up to the test long term, well that is something that we will have to report back on over time.

There is soo much to the lithium battery, but I hope that I’ve managed to provide some basic and relatable information to this option.
