Cities: Skylines - Tips and Tricks #4 - Managing your city's budget

Tips and tricks episode 4. Some of my own experience and tips on how to manage your city's budget and save some money. I forgot to mention the taxes, I currently use 10% tax for everything, 11% kills all demand, buildings start to complain at 14%. For the future, I would like to experiment with 9% tax to increase demand.

The thing with all the transport vehicles having very similar maintenance costs would imply, that buses are useless, but keep in mind that for buses, you use roads that are already there and there are no maintenance costs for stops. For metro, you have to maintain stations and tunnels obviously. So buses do have their place in the public transport mix (like I said, use appropriate PT type for the number of people you need to transport for maximum cost-effectiveness)

This video is a bit longer that I would want, mainly because I talk a lot slower and repeat things when speaking from the top of my head, I'll try to go back to written commentary for the next "talk-heavy" videos.
