WE Teachers Professional Learning Session feat Dr. Art McCoy, Jessica Kennedy & Arlinda Davis

We are very excited to offer this WE Teachers Professional Learning Session featuring three special guests and friends of WE at this WE Teachers Professional Learning. Dr. Art McCoy is the Superintendent of Schools for Jennings School District (St. Louis, MO). His passion for teaching and learning is infectious, and he will share the value of bringing service-learning into the classroom to help overcome some of the issues that students face in the classroom – trauma, bullying, and violence. Jessica Kennedy from Mental Health America will share her expertise and the research behind the first three WE Teachers modules, along with some tips about how to implement the resources in the classroom. Finally, Arlinda Davis is a champion WE Teacher from Birmingham, Alabama. She is a recipient of the WE Teachers Award, and has already assisted her School District in leading a Professional Learning on Trauma-Informed Practice to over 4,500 staff.
