Dozens of Trump supporters gathered outside the Maricopa County vote-counting site in Phoenix on Thursday making proofless accusations of widespread election fraud while ballots in the US presidential election are still being counted.
"I'm out here supporting our President because they're actually trying to steal this election. I have personal inside knowledge. As a poll worker, I got a phone call yesterday that 150 ballots alone from our precinct, there was only 260 ballots that were submitted and turned in, 150 of them have come up missing. So, if that's happening in our small precinct in Pinal County. I know there is major, major, fraud happening all over," claimed a Trump supporter at the demonstration.
Early results in the state show that Democrat candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden is in the lead and some media outlets already called the race for him. Many Trump supporters, however, believe that the results can change in Trump's favour as counting progresses.
