Tribute to "if" by Rudyard Kipling. Behind the Scenes of Wingsuit BASE.

Some of my favourite parts about base jumping is the locations it takes you, the beautiful hikes to the jumps and the wonderful friends met along the way. The poem "if" is by Rudyard Kipling, the author of "The Jungle Book". I can recite the poem and it is often running through my mind when I'm hiking to a base jump. I like the theme of duality running through the poem and I think it applies well to base jumping and it inspires me to strive to be a better person.

This is a glimpse behind the scenes of wingsuit BASE. These shots were filmed in June and July 2017 in Europe whilst hiking. It is not all about the jump or the destination. Remember to stop and appreciate the beauty that constantly surrounds us.
