How to Make a Sun Shade For a Power Boat

Stay cool and protected from the sun while at anchor or docked at the marina with a great-looking sun shade. We will be using our existing sun shade as a template to pattern our new sun shade made with Polytex Shade Cloth Fabric from Sailrite. Polytex or Parasol is an HDPE fabric with excellent UV resistance and a high strength-to-weight ratio, making it a great choice for shade structures. If you don’t have an existing sun shade to pattern from, we’ll explain in detail the measurements you need to take in order to pattern your new sun shade.
