Dejiggering Nehemiah - thick scales loaded with jiggers debrided alongside those horrible bugs

What liberty for Nehemiah, to see him finally free from jiggers that had lodged in his feet, elbows and hands! Having lost his ability to think right, I even doubt he was able to scratch himself when those bugs itched. I think he simply sat there, sometimes with his cannabis smocking as jiggers did all they wanted to him. Too sad to see a twenty and nine year old go through the horror of jiggers and brain dysfunction. This certainly was one of the most challenging cases, with a history that was hard to tell. We knew it would be hard to try and help Nehemiah even with jiggers without helping him with the mind issues, but as always, we were willing to give it a try.
