Yoga For Menstrual Pain Relief | Knee To Chest Pose | Yoga Tak

Many women suffer from severe menstrual pain with sharp, burning or nauseating cramps in their lower abdomen and back. One of the most effective poses for menstrual pain is the Knees-to-Chest pose. This feel-good posture relaxes the lower back and abdominal muscles, relieving tension and reducing pain. Knees-to-Chest pose also increases blood circulation to the abdomen, aids the internal organs, softens the mind, and reduces anxiety. It stretches your hips and thighs, strengthens the back and opens the chest. When you bring your knee towards the chest, abdomen area is stimulated, which improves digestion. Basically it can be beneficial to people who are in sitting jobs.
