Cerebral Palsy kids: with absent neck holding managed by therapy
maturity of Brain occur in cephalo-caudal direction so infant achieve first neck holding then trunk balance so neck holding is very important for getting good trunk balance and ultimately ambulation. it is a fact that if child do not get good neck holding by 1 year then it became rare possibility for independent ambulation in future. absent neck holding despite good therapy at the age of 2 year shows sever brain insult. so these children need intensive therapy in early age so that they can achieve basic milestone at early age. more info about on latest development in cerebral palsy at www.trishlafoundation.com.
