Voith reeling optimization product Flying Splice - for fully automatic reel change (EN)

The Flying Splice unwinder allows fully automatic reel change for offline calenders. The changing times are clearly reduced compared to a manual change. The Flying Splice unwinder consists of a primary unwinder and a secondary pivot arm, each with a brake generator, and a splice unit. It is available for coating machines of up to 10 meters working width, machine speed of 2000 m/min and unwind diameter of 3600 mm.
