Painters, Musicians and Authors: My Inspiration | Q&A with Colum Sanson-Regan
Colum Sanson-Regan details who his inspirations and influences are in this video interview. From authors like Raymond Carver and H. G. Wells to artists such as Francisco Goya and songwriters like Paul Simon, they are a varied bunch.
Colum Sanson-Regan was born in Ireland and started his creative career busking on the streets of Cork and Dublin.
His first solo album, GO, enjoyed a spot in the top five download charts, and songs from it have been featured in documentaries, compilations, and educational materials. He regularly performs in Cardiff, Wales where he now lives with his wife Kerry and two daughters.
Colum attended the University of South Wales, where he completed his masters in creative writing, and received the Michael Parnell Award. He now lectures at the University, and is the author of The Fly Guy, a psychological thriller, and The Tall Owl and Other Stories, a collection of short stories. These titles are both published by Wordcatcher.
