Polo R WRC vs. Corsa OPC NRE - ACCELERATION & SOUND (1080p)

Full throttle Autobahn acceleration & SOUND comparison between the 2014 VW Polo R WRC (2.0 TSI, 220hp, 350Nm) and a 2014 Opel Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition (1.6 Turbo, 210hp, 280Nm). Yes I know, these are no AMGs and no Ms but they deliver a mind-blowing performance for their size, even on the Autobahn! Immediately after I test-drove the Polo R I wanted to compare it to the hottest Corsa that I had driven before. The 2.0 TSI in the VW feels like it has a lot more punch, but you can see in the video that the OPC is not getting too far behind, a great engine this 1.6 Turbo. Sound-wise I prefer the Polo as in-cab is has more grunt, but suspension-wise I think the OPC is clearly winning, with a real "Nordschleife setup".
