11 year old Michael meets a legendary Go player

Iwamoto 9P was a successful Japanese tournament pro who won the Honinbo title. He also was extremely generous with his time and money in promoting Go throughout the world, and made a huge donation to help found Go centers in Europe and the Americas. This is a story about the time he came to Santa Barbara, California, and showed a Go problem to an 11-year old boy called Michael Redmond.
The story teller is Noni Redmond, Michael's mother. Noni founded the Redmond Cup, a tournament for young American players, and has been active in helping American youth to participate in this game. She is still enjoying life and taking on new challenges as she films her first video.
Just for the hard-core Go fans who just have to see the board position, I added a explanation of the problem itself (and tried to keep it short).
I will continue to produce Go videos, with some stories such as this one. Please subscribe!https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRJyagla1B5cxIfR4i2LdgA?view_as=subscribersub_confirmation=1
