Daw Aung San Suu Kyi at USF [Full talk]

Nobel Peace Laureate Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, renowned Burmese opposition leader and chairperson of the National League for Democracy in Burma, reunites with the Burmese community of the Bay Area at the University of San Francisco. Suu Kyi lived under house arrest for 15 years, bringing international attention to her country's struggle for democracy and the ruling military junta. She spoke to the crowd at USF Memorial gym in both English and Burmese.
