In this CoralFish12g video I am going to be reviewing the AutoAqua Smart ATO Micro provided to me by TB Aquatics. Topping off evaporated water can be hassle and technology once again has given us aquarists and amazing solution. Auto Top Off’s otherwise known as ato’s have been around for a while now, but the Smart ATO Micro is something pretty revolutionary when I comes to ATO’s especially if you have a nano sized aquarium. Overall the new Smart ATO Micro is a must have to us for anyone with a AIO or nano aquarium. The small size and easy to use system makes this extremely attractive for any novice or advanced reefer.

UPDATE:
Siphon breaker

The part is a siphon breaker, not a check valve. The siphon breaker is designed for avoiding the siphon issue so it must be set up inside the reservoir above the water level (In the video, the siphon breaker is set up outside of the reservoir and this may cause a problem that the water drops out of the hole in the siphon breaker will drip onto the floor).
