After doing a tour at the two Auschwitz sites, Auschwitz should be considered as a preservation of something terrible and a hard reminder of one of the darkest times in human history and not just another tourist attraction. The actual tour is much different from what you’ve read and saw on TV, its difficult to imagine the scale and the sheer size of the atrocities of what happened here when your walking throughout the camps.

Most of Camp 1 remains in good condition compared to the 2nd camp, many horrors occurred at this camp with alot of experiments particularly on women.

Camp 2 was mostly destroyed by the Nazis as they try to erase what had happened there as Soviet forces were closing in. What remains still tells a story of the horror that occurred there and what remains of the destroyed crematoriums and gas chambers.

Auschwitz Concentration Camp is certainly a place that everyone should visit, this is a place where you can see history with your own eyes.
