The fat you eat is the fat you wear. From your lips to your hips. Fat makes you fat. If you are familiar with Dr. John McDougall, you’ve probably heard these phrases before. It’s a big part of his high carb, low fat Starch Solution program, this idea that the cause of bodily fat is dietary fat so if you want to be slim and healthy, you need to severely limit your fat intake.
But is this true? Does the science support such a program as the healthiest, most slimming way to eat?
