Let's pretend that you are going to hang a heavy Mirror or picture on a drywall?
Hanging anything on a drywall is simple when using the right anchors, can't say the same when trying to find a stud; or drill into concrete.
Drill your anchor to where they're both touching the wall as you can see here; once that's done guys the last thing is obvious.
Go ahead and put our screw in there, and how far you want to go in with the screw; is up to you.
You'll know depending on whatever you're hanging really, you'll know how much screw to keep out; in my example the mirror that I'm hanging is going to be using a wire so keeping less than half of the screw was good enough.

So, I think that's good enough for it to hang, as you can see; It's not going anywhere.
I personally like this type of anchor; it works great for me; when hanging things on dry wall that are like I said 20 up to 75 pounds.
Then we're going to need a drill bit, now something to keep in mind; the drill bit will need to be just a bit thinner than your anchor itself.
The reason is so that when we drill a hole that smaller, just enough for this tip to go in; but then of course as the end goes into the drywall is going to expand.
Then that's what helps it lock in the drywall.
