Why do zebra stallions kill foals?

****GRAPHIC CONTENT**** Zebra Stallion attacks a young foal killing it in the process. Why this Burchells zebra stallion killed the new born, has so far remained unexplained by scientists and behavioural researchers.

It is believed that the stallion thereby ensuring that the female will be available for mating again and stop all rival DNA from spreading.
