Barney Fife tribute artist David Browning tells all about the Mayberry in the Midwest Festival held annually in Danville, Indiana the third weekend of May.

The family friendly event is based on The Andy Griffith Show. Throughout the weekend kids can play at Opie's World on Jefferson Street, tribute artists perform on stage and you may even get lucky enough to bump into one in the crowd, actress Maggie Peterson who played Charlene Darling will be in attendance to meet fans, food and merchandise vendors line Washington Street, historic tractors takeover Tractor Town, and demonstrations tents will be held at the Hendricks County Historical Museum.
