Lyme Regis Museum: Sam's medieval coin on display!

A special trip to Lyme Regis Museum to see Sam's coin on display - the medieval coin that Sam found from our fossil walk from Lyme Regis museum. In 2019, Sam managed to find a medieval coin while on a guided Lyme Regis Museum fossil walk. She has since donated this medieval coin to Lyme Regis museum and now our first chance to see it. It's a silver long cross penny with Edward the 1st on one side and was minted in 1280. In fact, its the whole reason for this special trip to Lyme Regis. Then we explored the Jurassic coast beaches of Lyme Regis and Charmouth for some fossil hunting.
