Bagani: Week 17 Recap - Part 1

The whole of Sansinukob trembles as the epic battle between powerful beings is about to take place. Despite Lakas' (Enrique Gil) and Ganda's (Liza Soberano) absences, the Babaylan (Dimples Romana) and the other Baganis hold their ground against Sarimaw (Ryan Eigenmann). However, Sansinukob's mightiest warriors find themselves struggling against the guardian deity's Tayarak. Meanwhile, Kidlat (Rayver Cruz) learns that his arm has been infected by the cursed dagger of Berberoka. Refusing to let Sarimaw's dark power consume him, Kidlat comes to a risky decision.

The Babaylan, Dumakulem (Makisig Morales), Liksi (Zaijian Jaranilla), and Lakam (Matteo Guidicelli) march into battle against Sarimaw and the Tayarak. Aware that they cannot defeat the guardian deity, the Baganis come up with a plan to take Sarimaw out of the equation. However, Sarimaw foils their plans and manages to gain the upper hand. Just as the Baganis accept their defeat, the Minokawa arrives in time to save them from the jaws of death. Out of nowhere, Lakas and Ganda stand tall between their fellow Baganis and the guardian deity.

Lakas then reminds them that their war against Sarimaw is far from over. Ready to battle the evil guardian deity once again, the five powerful warriors realize that they need to deal with the Tayarak before they could face him. Meanwhile, Kidlat finds out that Sarimaw's dark power is starting to consume him. To make matters worse, the desert tribe general manages to locate where the dagger of Berberoka is buried.
