The Government has confirmed that it is considering checks on people arriving at seaports and airports in the UK. It follows reports that officials are drawing up plans for passengers to be quarantined for 14 days after entering the Country. Passengers travelling to the UK will face a two-week quarantine and fines if they don’t comply, as part of the government’s ‘second phase’ of disease prevention.
