Welcome back! This week I'm demonstrating one of the coolest tools in my knife making shop, the Moenworks/Hardcore Grinders carbide rotary flat platen.

I am not sponsored in any way on this video but, I am friends with Jerry Moen, the developer of this platen. I still had to buy mine and it was worth the money!

I failed to mention in the video but, the beauty of this platen is that it eliminates the bump from the belt splice. Eliminating that bump makes a dramatic difference in the surface finish that can be achieved straight off the grinder.
